It was a significant effort on my behalf but I finally got them all off today. I was awake at 5:30 a.m. and found a drug my ass out of bed around and piddled around the apartment cleaned up a little bit made coffee waited for my caregiver to get here. My goal today, major task in hand, let's do get the Letters Out. I finally got them all printed and the envelopes addressed and failed. I got cash in the envelopes that needed cash and everything was done except for the stamps and wouldn't you know it I only had five stamps and needed one more. I hope to get a hold of Jennifer the front desk person but she had a door closed all day she was doing rent reviews or something like that I need the Silence of the closed door for concentration and probably privacy as well. That meant one thing a trip to the market to the post office they have in the Macy's. It wouldn't have been my first choice for today but I did need to pick up a few things for the weekend. Finally after lunch I pulled the big red coat over my shoulders I head out across the street. Of course on the way I dropped four of the letters which means I had to backtrack to find them and then to put them up on my stick and drag him up to my lap. Fortunately the letters dropped just outside the door to the bus stop as I was bent over trying to pick up a couple of the envelopes. One of the people who live here stopped and retrieved them off the blacktop for me. At the market the first thing I did was go to the counter and get stamps then finished stamping the envelopes and drop them into the mail return. I don't think there's a ghost of a chance that we picked up today but you never know it might just happen. I got my part out of the way that's all I cared about and now I have the whole month of February to enjoy before I start having to put together the March mail out. Since I'm still in the mailing mode I've almost decided to print out envelopes for March. That's not a promise but something I'm just considering.
