Another hot and exhausting day of the family reunion weekend. Remember last night it was quite late by the time I finally rolled into my apartment and by the time I got to bed it was past 1:00 a.m. it took me that long to just get ready for bed. I just kept to think of things I needed to do and have to get done before the new day. I slept in till about 6:13 a.m. very rarely do I sleep that long and I think mainly just because I went to bed an hour or two later than I usually do. I only read half a page before I clocked out for the night. I really didn't have a deadline to look at this morning so I kind of dialed a little bit getting dressed it took me a while. I got the word finally that lunch would be around 12:00 and to meet over at Carl's Place again. I did okay I think I traveled faster then I did the other day same way with my return trip.
It was a lunch of cold cuts sandwich Carl had a bunch of sandwiches made for us to dine on it was a great treat with chips and something to drink I guess I didn't have anything to drink. Everyone got together pretty well. More Paul's kids showed up at this particular get together. Mine never did sadly but that's okay we are a weird group, this family of mine. I don't think it was 90° out there today probably in the high 80s not too bad. I hung out at the event until oh later in the day at least 3:30 4:00 till they finally decided to make the break and head out. It was it was a good time to leave things were getting a little weird particularly how different members of the family perceived what was going on as a family at that point in time in the late 50s early 60s. , '70s. Who really is how what perceives what's going on around them is our history kids to be then it all looks different when you get together with other folks and try to compare the comparisons aren't nearly as cut and dry as you think at least inside my mind. I'm so glad I didn't see the atrocities that seem to be happening in my family during that period of time. Very few have a great idea or example of what went on it's all bits and pieces put together like the blind men and the Elephant. It was good to get home and relax a little bit. I'm stuffed that was stuffed I'm still stuffed which is not a good thing. I wish I had a way to go to the toilet. Tomorrow we're meeting a hour later than I usually go to breakfast on Sundays 9:00 at dees. I just hope I make it through the night without an accident...
