It seems like there's some Unwritten rule that you don't have state meetings on Mondays or Fridays but the days in between those two days are okay that's why I felt it odd when I got the email that the meeting for the at Council was going to be on Monday today. Or whatever it was also probably the wettest day of the year so far. This of course is great for the folks trying to Stave off the drought but it's a day that sucks if you've got to travel on public transit. It was a lunch meeting of course I enjoy lunch meetings most just because it's a lunch and it's not the greatest lunches in the world though I shouldn't be picky. I've rambled on before about how State lunches used to be great when they were catered you actually had real meat in this lasagna and are spaghetti. Then everything changed in the late '80s and '90s well now it's a sandwich and a salad and some kind of a dessert in a styrofoam box or clear plastic. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad lunch it's great but it's a cold lunch. I only have, really one jacket left to my name for public transit or for foul weather. All my other jackets are kind of worn out usually the zipper is broken off completely there's no way to close the jacket. My other jacket has big rips in it I don't remember where they came from, the rips, and if I were Brave I would throw them away but I just have a hard time splitting with them but I think I'm going to get rid of them this year. The jacket I have left, the jacket I wore today is my rain Red Jacket. I never unzip the jacket cuz if my limited hand function there's no way I can zip the thing back up where I to get it on. So now I just sort of try to pull the whole thing over my head which never really does well. I con myself into believing that nobody really looks at me I'm just that hobo on the bus and the power chair. I kind of feel bad until some really freaky people came on the bus and then I didn't feel so bad at all at least I was warm more or less. I didn't get totally soaked but wouldn't have to be uncomfortable. I was glad when I finally got on the bus to come home. I was going to get off at Walmart to buy some envelopes but the rain is just too hard now it's too cold and two worn out and two freaked out by the other zombies on the bus. I did stop at the polygamist store across the street from my apartment they have a weird department store but they did have boxes of envelopes just 40 but that will get me by the next two or three letters months who can ask for anything more. Tomorrow I need to get to the bank to get cash for the letters it's almost the first…
