Just one of those days..

It was just one of those days. On any days or most days I wake up around 5:00 and have to lay around till 6:00 when I usually get up but not today- - oh no, not today. I woke up today around 6:30 which is amazing to me still. But today is Tuesday which means I have my assist meeting in Salt Lake which means I have to be ready and out the door to catch the bus bye 9:35 or 40. That will get me to the library downtown about right around 10:00 and then I can catch my breath and spend some time wandering around the library checking out what's new. However, for a number of reasons that wasn't supposed to happen today because I had to get ready so I can could be out by that. Time and since I don't have my regular chair makes dressing a bit more of a challenge and I wasn't sure if I could pull it all off in order to get there in time however I did! I surprised myself. I still worried about the batteries in this chair and if they would hold up for going as far as I have to go but isn't that far regular but with the battery starved chair maybe it would be so instead of driving my chair all the way down to the corner where I catch the 47 inbound I caught the 217 just outside my back door and went to the transit hub and picked up the 47 there traveling probably no more than 50 ft. This saved me a lot of battery power I believe. I got to the library about the usual time did some book inspections and finally wandered over to my meeting. It wasn't a bad meeting and I got another check to cover the one I lost. I did not go the route that took me to the bank however I decided to go straight home to conserve the battery as much as I could power wise. Is it okay tonight I still have 71% of the charge in my battery. I know however that they'll start going down quickly from this point forward so I did good I think I did all right by taking the vessels extra routes those extra trips and saving the battery time.

My brother brought over the sticks I requested earlier this month after I broke off one of the other sticks he'd made for me. He made them a little bit different this time and I don't know if I'm going to be able to use them very well. I may need to have him rip one of them and two or whatever to make sure I have a lighter than usual stick in the edges sanded down. The sticks that I have now are quite sharp on the edges and don't know if it'll break the skin or not. If he could just run the edges down the sander that would be good. He did mention that one of the sticks cost $6 and so much cents a foot. I'm not sure but I don't know if he was indicating that he would need to be reimbursed for purchasing the wood which I should have brought up by myself anyway kind of strange. I've sent him a text to see. Hope it doesn't put him on the spot. It was good to get home from assist and take it easy for the rest of the day/ week. Looks like the weather might take a turn for the worst but I just don't believe anything the weather man says anymore. Today is supposed to be pretty grungy but it turned out to be fairly decent not too cold just cloudy/ a little sprinkler actually but not too much.
