Of course the only day this week that snow blue sideways and a cold with blue always and I had to take a trip down south to almost 80th South to get my toenails done. I've been thinking and had I been smart I would have called yesterday of the day before and ask for a reschedule but I didn't know that the weather was really good to get this bad. As soon as most of the time when the meteorologist says it's going to do this it's going to do that it really just do anything at all but not today today was cold and somewhat miserable. It was the only thing on my agenda so I didn't feel too bad. Today was bathing day and by the time I was up and dressed and ready I just had a few hours before I need to take off for my buses to my toenail guy. It was snowing when I left the apartment to cross the street. I tried to face out from the wind so it just blew my back but that's uncomfortable cuz it puts my back to the oncoming traffic and I hate it when the bus comes up and I'm not ready for it. So I tucked my head inside my jacket as well as I could and wrapped my scarf around my face and they sat there until the bus came up. I don't know if I've mentioned this before but it gets weird at the end or the middle of route 217. The 217 runs every 15 minutes and very civilized but the 218 which I have to take from where the bus stop ends and the 218 begins the 218 runs on every 30 minutes and that seems like forever when you're waiting for a bus in cold cold weather or hot hot weather it just seems endless. I was so fortunate however that when we pulled into the bus station the driver let me sit on the bus until it was time for the other bus to come and Park and then I was able to sit on that bus until we took off but in both cases I was warm and dry. This is never really happened before and I sure appreciate it the driver volunteering this and I really didn't have to talk to him either I just sat there and messed with my cell.
Seriously the time I spend with my podiatrist is between 10 and 15 minutes. We have small talk usually about the horrible stand so the USA right now or what he did on the summer vacation Etc. He cleans my toes Crips the giant toenails and then works on whatever wounds I might have. This time he worked on the wound on my foot that I have gotten from the other chair that I've been using. We think this chair is much better as far as no pressure on the side of my foot or that wound was trying to get a hold on I should be okay now but you gave me some more Band-Aids and things to look for and volunteer to services that I not be healed as a week or so. The return trip was a bit challenging I couldn't really make out what the time frame of the returning bus was because of the half an hour headways. Eventually sat out in the cold until the bus came it was about 20 minutes but it seems like forever. I was grateful but it was all done and I was in my apartment with the heat cranked up. I had warmed leftover spaghetti for dinner pick some meds settled in to watch some flat screen for the rest of the night. I watched the 12 monkeys on Prime it was great . I love that show Today was a pretty good day but cold hopefully this weekend will be warmer …
