Daylight Savings Time started today. I'm not a big fan of daylight savings time it's so stupid to change times like this at least that's what I think. Anyway I of course forgot to turn my clock ahead when I went to bed last night I was so excited to get some reading time in on my book that I forgot to turn the clock ahead. When I woke up this morning I wanted to be up by 5:00 a.m. so I could listen to the English show that I listen to on Sunday morning since I get ready for breakfast. The clock red 4:45 when I woke up which means it was nearly actually 6:00 a.m. which is what time I have to wake up on normal days not Sundays. This means I was going to have to hustle in order to get dressed in time. No time to lollygag around like I usually do on Sunday mornings but I have the extra hour. I did pretty good I focused for the next 2 hours I'm getting my shorts on and my shoes spent way too much time trying to do up my shorts then basically gave up on the whole concept and make sure I had a shirt long enough to cover the open pants. I think I pulled it off all right.
It was just Mark and I for breakfast today. I don't know what happened to the other kids but that was all right it gave Mark and I time to visit and enjoy each other's company. It was pretty noisy today at the restaurant it was hard to visit almost. There's a great family group sitting just next to us with a number of kids that screamed all the time especially that high-pitched shrill shriek that some kids Delight in screaming. We finished our meal and visiting about an hour and a half and went on our ways. I must confess that I really didn't do anything with my day even though it looked like a beautiful spring day and it sounded like it when I listen to the news reports later on in the day. I just did Marvel movies all day Spider-Man free movies and one guardian of the Galaxy. I know that's really sad and I don't have an excuse I'm sorry I didn't do anything except maybe I'm just lazy.
Starting tomorrow a high pressure system is moving in over the state or at least the Wasatch Front which means that temperatures are going to escalate and get up maybe even to the '70s which is going to be phenomenal. This worries me a lot because that also means that the season of witness is just about finished and that we're going to have a lot more hot days this coming summer and more issues of weather related travels whether it's fires, dried up water supply or just Superior Heat to the point where it might be dangerous to travel outside. I don't have any issues with wearing a hat so that won't be a problem was just it's going to get arid, dry and the little spooky. Add that with the current legislative political issues of the country and it's going to get really uncomfortable. I still will not be surprised but will be terrified if and when the current Administration starts cutting supports to folks with disabilities and who are low income. They've already started the Low Income thing so the disabilities can't be far off. I just hope I'm going to be able to survive…
