I had the weirdest dream this morning just before getting up I think it started around 2:00 a.m. and I think most propagated by the feeling that I wanted to make sure I was up and so I could get to the restaurant on time for breakfast. I was able to get back to sleep off and on for the next couple hours until I got up at 6:00 a.m.. but I had the most difficult time remembering what day it was and that this was the day one of my caretakers got here and helped me do my poop. It was just so weird. Finally at the right time I got up and pretty much did a fairly decent job of getting ready except for I lost my shoe on my right foot and I couldn't get it on in time to get to the restaurant to meet the kids on time. I just set the shoe on my foot and nobody gave me any problems or hassles about it and my son went ahead and wiggled my shoe back onto my foot and I was pretty much set to go for the rest of the day. I still must admit that I continue to worry myself about how difficult it is to get ready get dressed and do the things that used to be relatively simple like putting my shoes on now I'm elected to go the whole day without a shoe on the one foot.
Following breakfast my granddaughter and her boyfriend/significant mother came to the apartment clean things up a little bit I was so pleased to have them here. Jackson does a great job cleaning sweeping and just getting things really put together nicely. Remember having somewhat bummed out about my power chairs left side where the armrest doesn't stay up anymore and it just sort of wears me out. Remember I couldn't even with my brother's help get the arm functional at least so it holds itself up and lets me use it to pull myself up to a city position better than not having anything. Will Jackson and Jasmine worked on this arm for about an hour today after they came to my apartment after breakfast. I feel that the peace was no longer functional and I just have to deal with it but after the two of them work together on this piece they got it to the point where was fixed in the right place and it's just been a godsend. I can tell already how nice it's going to be to have that functional in my day-to-day life. I am even thinking that the arm on this chair working the way it's supposed to now well help me till I can get until I get everything taken care of and maybe that won't be an issue that's my chair being repaired sometime this week. After the kids left cleaning my apartment I pretty much stayed in for the rest of the day. I had thought about going somewhere maybe but again I just not too secure with the batteries as weak cuz I seem to be. I probably will stick around the apartments this week at least until I get my chair back unless it's Tuesday and I have to go into the assist meeting.
