Remember a couple of weeks ago when I went to my doctor's appointment my dentist appointment and he was in the middle of an oral surgery and couldn't do my appointment and they gave me a gift card? The gift card was for Texas Roadhouse steaks. Oh, they gave me the gift card because I was very gracious and indicated that I'd be happy to move my appointment to another date to give him more time and less stress and because of that that's they gave me a choice of gift cards to various restaurants in the area. I decided I would go ahead and use the gift card as opposed to have it language in my wallet for who knows how long? I still have gift cards that I've got three to five years ago maybe longer but I've never really used just because I've never buy the place at the same time that I'm hungry or need to use the card. It's really kind of sad but today I decided I would go ahead and use the card up get everything on it I wanted and have the card to go and I would take it home and then eat on a little bit by a little bit through the weekend. That's the other thing when I get a gift card or something like that to her a restaurant they generally really pile the food on and I can't eat all all that food and one setting and then I burdened myself with having to still carry the leftovers home. This way I'm at least I'm carrying not leftovers but first meal it'll be a great meal when I get around to eating it. The gift cards for 25 bucks basically just enough for an 8 oz steak with shrimp and the regular fixings baked potato I also got a container of mashed potatoes and gravy couple rolls The General stuff that you get with what used to be like a 15 $16 dinner now it's about 23. I still had to kick in two or three bucks on my own by the time it was all over and we were check it out but that was fine. It was great to get to be home and have a couple bites right at that time and then a little bit later for dinner. I haven't done this very much in the past cuz I haven't had the gift cards but I think that's the way to do it is to buy the meal on my own terms and then take it home I need it at home truly is the way to go .
The other eventful item of my day was going across the street to have my sutures removed from the extractions a couple of weeks ago or one week ago actually. I was set for 11:00. I thought it was going to be an In-N-Out deal and it kind of was but still is longer than I anticipated. One of the nurses or assistant was trying to remove them but because I wasn't in the actual dental studio she couldn't see it well enough and called on the regular dentist the old guy who I really like and he couldn't do it so I ended up getting his son who did the job pulled out the sutures. It's kind of painful very short pain however. I hope you got them all doesn't feel like it but he was in there long enough and he's conscientious enough I have faith that he got all it need to be gotten at the time. So it was a pretty good day I was busy I even got to read out in the sun for a while and sometimes it doesn't get much better than that. The temperatures are still warm and I'm out enjoying the season- - happy spring!
