Coffee Talk

Somehow, miraculously, I was able to get the cable plug into work and actually charge up my tablet almost to 100%. I got up to 85% I decided I would take it off the charger and use it to write my blog entry for the evening. Still I think it's pretty weird that it's taken me like almost 18 hours to charge this thing to the 85% level. I still have to figure out another way to charge this piece of equipment or maybe it's time to let this thing go and get another one. Sadly, these cheap little tablets are beginning to pile up like cordwood around my apartment. Had lunch with a good friend today well not lunch we had coffee and she mentioned that I should take my tablet into that program I work for assistive technology Foundation and see what they can do as far as either fixing it or finding me a worthy replacement had and affordable price. This is actually a great idea and I'm surprised I hadn't thought of it sooner since I'm on this part of directors and I also think that's where I this tablet came from. That was a number of years ago but still not an excuse.

We had our coffee today at Starbucks. It's a little trendy I agree, and that's not the term I want to use but I can't remember what the term is, but it's quiet enough not very many people were there during the times that we were. They don't bug us to buy more stuff we usually get that one beverage or a treat or both I had a muffin and a latte it really does sound bourgeois.

It's hard to believe that it's the end of May June will be just a couple days away and of course that means kid letters have to go out soon if I'm going to keep myself rule of trying to get these letters out by the first of each month. I keep telling myself it's not that big of a deal but somehow I must keep true to the form of out by the 1st or as close to it as I can every month. It also means I've got to run to the Credit Union pull out cash for those kids that still get cash every month. It gives me purpose and I like that it's almost as good as a job as far as having something to do and a reason to propel yourself out of bed every morning. I'm pretty pleased with myself even with meeting with Lori for coffee I still have been able to get in by our arm bike workout and I even got ccxthe clothes back from the dryers folded as well as hung up. That's touching a lot of bases in one day and that's pretty decent for me all things considered. All that things get a little bit out of hand tonight after I got home from coffee. I watched a little news and I and had a meager dinner the Ritz crackers and soup. I even had a small ice cream sandwich for dessert it was a pretty good day.
