I was kind of shocked this morning as I was leaving the coffee shop after doing my usual Saturday vigil of showing up ordering the large coffee and then sitting by myself listening and watching other people in the shop communicating one with another. Had enough time to myself and I really wanted to get some things going for the day I got up and ready to leave and say I was leaving a person that I know very little came in and she indicated that she wanted to visit so I put off my exit for another hour of visitation amazing. I was one of those folks that had somebody else at their table visiting, laughing and just being normal. I quite enjoyed myself even though it was quite a bit about nothing. As I was sitting at the table I got a text from I guess my ex son-in-law, which house just referred to as son-in-law you still feels like one. Your name is Gabe and Gabe indicated he and his son would like to get together with me and visit it's been a while. I thought we were fairly close when we were in another reality. I said sure and we would get together later on in the afternoon. This would give me time to get over to the market and pick up a few things get me squared away for the holiday weekend. This is a great weekend weather wise. Pretty much blue skies, there were a few pesky clouds not enough to block the Sun and get chilled however. I returned from the market put my groceries away and then worked on cleaning up the place a little bit. I didn't know what we were going to do as a visit just wanted to be sure. That's the time got closer for the arrival and they called indicating that they were on their way I decided I'd meet him outside of the building.
It was such a nice day we decided to go across the parking lot into the park just adjacent to the apartment complex. We did and we visited really well for the next 2 hours perhaps a little more. Good conversation it was a quick and constant conversation there are no walls or soft slow parts which I think is important which meant that we had a fairly decent relationship that we still do when we have lots to talk about and we did. It was my son-in-law and I guess grandchild Asher. Ashley's about 14 now it's amazing I can give you all the crochets about how fast kids grow and all that kind of stuff but you'll know what I mean. Asher was a major part of our conversation I think we totally enjoyed each other's presence and look forward to meeting again. I sent out a text to my son- - the one that we usually have breakfast every Sunday morning with - - to see if that's what was on the agenda this week as well and it was we are set. It's been a busy but good day a lot of talking a lot of being social which is sort of different for me it was a nice change...
