As I've written earlier the local weather folks been calling this major storm to be hitting in Salt Lake this weekend. I have to admit I was a little intimidated by the whole thing especially going to breakfast on Sunday morning when they said that the storm might be at its worst. I sort of contacted my granddaughter who was the only other person in town right now that goes to breakfast with me and let her know that perhaps this wasn't a good time to go. I just left text message. She responded that if I wanted they would bring breakfast into the apartment since they planned to hang out here afterwards and help clean the place up a little bit. Well I decided Well I'll go anyway and of course this morning I went there was no rain when I went and it was raining when I left cuz it wasn't that big of a deal and I didn't have to go very far. Totally glad that I made the decision to go the kids join me at the restaurant we had a good visit and then back to the apartment where the kitchen was cleaned up floor swept and my quasi grandson started putting my cans in order all the cans of my pantry it's pretty chaotic and it took a couple hours but he had a great job you're still more that needs to be done at some point but we'll get to that later had a great morning with the kids though the apartment looks good and I feel excited to start another week. This supposed storm is supposed to last a good part of this week but that's okay I don't have anywhere to go no commitments out. I'll kick back and just enjoy each day maybe do a little cooking and try to do a little artwork.
