I resolved early on this morning that I was going to take an early movie and then just kick back the rest of the day read Maybe watch a couple movies on Netflix or Disney Plus my usual way to get through a holiday. However I was pleased when I was contacted by Jasmine indicating that she'd like to come over and hang out for a while. Of course did not tell her that I was thinking of going to a movie because it's more important to me to have any time at all with my grandkids. So it took them a while to get there but they finally did show up and picked up and cleaned up around the apartment pretty well totally appreciate that then Mark Anthony joined us that was exciting as well Mark also got into the act of cleaning things up he watched the dishes cleaned around the sinks and stuff that was pretty nice it was a great Independence Day meeting everybody went their ways of course everyone had other things that they had to do family stuff and though I did not tell them I still was playing with the idea of getting to the movies. I was very pleased to find out that the buses were actually running today and pretty close to the regular schedule. I was totally pleased when sitting at the bus stop outside my apartment that little bus showed up in less than 10 minutes! I was planning on going to a later movie maybe an hour or so later but if I could get there the next 5 or 10 minutes I could get in to the movie that's just starting because it'll still be showing previews and stuff.
I'm pleased to announce that I was able to pull it off get to the to the theater and get my seating area even after some problems about finding my club membership. Today I chose to go to Young Washington a period of timepiece about George Washington as a young individual. Is by an organization called the angel group and I think it's just as it sounds it's a very born again/patriotic type outfits. I did not let that detour me. I thought the movie was well done. It was a real interesting take on the Redcoats and the early Continental Army and George Washington initially wearing a red coat even though he was a local boy. It was also an interesting portrayal of Native Americans and how they served not only the French but also the Continental civilian Army George Washington was part of. I think I would like to see that developed a little bit further. There was still some aspects of the movie I was somewhat confused with. I would probably be well served to sit through the movie again but I don't know if I'm up for that kind of punishment. I was looking so much surprise though they were quite a few people in the theater with me that's hardly ever the case especially on Sunday.
Later in the afternoon once I came back from the movie I was supposed to cook either one or two of the steaks that I purchased couple days ago. However, I remembered that I have almost full bag of Frito dippers hidden away in the closet and I still have 3/4 of a container of chip dip just what I needed for the movies.
