Monday's moans

You all know how I feel about change. It's just hard on the old guy. Will today was a big change well not that big. Lissy , my regular caregiver had training today. She's going through some major changes today organization she works for and they're training her for higher level work than just caregiving. They wanted to do stuff at the office which is good but she's been going through training the last couple Mondays. Well, Friday when she was here she brought another person with her who she was training and basically used me as the person to be trained on. Lissy knew she had training today so she was using the new person to cover her for my regular Monday morning program. I had every impression that after lissy was trained should return to do my regular morning routine . What was odd for me today was that the new person Livvy gave me every impression that she was going to be here Wednesday and Beyond. This kind of freaks me out just because I'm really used to Melissa and didn't want to have to go through a whole new person and have to get used to that person. I really like Melissa and the relationship that we have with each other she makes the whole concept of personal care enjoyable and non-threatening not that Libby does Olivia does a great job and I think if I had to go with somebody different Olivia would be the person I would choose. Maybe I and being a little overreactive. I actually called Melissa this evening and she reinforced the idea that she'll be back and continue to do my regular care I'll just have to see if that happens. And the worst case would be breaking in a new person who I hope will last as long as the old person.

Just an update on my chair. I texted my chairperson this morning and saw that he got back with me this afternoon but I had not checked my email until just a few minutes ago to find out that he is still trying to get a hold of that person that does the work on chairs and find out if the problem can be fixed and of course my person who needs to work on my chair will be going to St George starting tomorrow for the rest of the week so that means I'm stuck with this chair for who knows how long. The battery has not been giving me issues today and certainly giving me the feeling that if I really charge the battery the night before I should be okay for a trip into the city to go to my regular Tuesday morning meeting. I'm a little worried but I think I have it worked out for a trip that will take as little battery power as possible utilizing buses and trains and such. I just realized tomorrow is the 20th of the month that means just 10 more days until the end which also means that I need to get busy on my kid letters for the coming month which is November. It's not that I do a special newsletter I don't even do a special newsletter for free but I do like to set November apart from the other months maybe and try to make the letter more significant to those days. I don't have a theme yet for November except Thanksgiving in the things that I'm thankful for but maybe that's enough
