Sunday's thoughts

I don't know if I'm just lucky or I'm beginning to figure out this backup chair. It's still a bugger to live with and I cannot wait to tell I can get either my old chair back by regular chair or a new backup chair and eventually a brand new chair. That was sort of frustrated last night late the battery in my chair had just basically almost depleted itself. The last thing I did before I turned in was to make sure that the battery was plugged in and it was charging right. I was up this morning earlier than usual just because I wanted to make sure I was totally dressed in time for breakfast. I knew it was going to be a challenge dressing but I ended up doing better today then I did yesterday. I don't know if it was the fact that I didn't try to have my shoes on as I was dressing pulling my shorts out. Today I purposely got my leg up and into the pants without shoes on and then later on put my shoes on and it worked! I don't want to give you the idea that I sailed right through it was still a challenge trying to get my feet up over my leg so I can put my shorts on not so much problem the ladder as far as putting my shoes on but either way I was done before 8:45 when we are scheduled to meet for breakfast. The second thing that I was pleased about today was that I had plugged the chair in and it's said it fully charged but I don't believe that anymore but it has acted like it has a strong charge today I've gone over 2 months and it's still showing about 100% charger I don't believe that at all but it certainly not flashing red signs at me telling me that it's a 0%. I wonder if the machine is toying with me so it'll make me feel that it will make the trip to Salt Lake for my Tuesday meeting but we'll just have to see what happens with that. As it happens right now I would have no problem being very careful but taking my chair in this backup chair, to my assist meeting on Tuesday. I still might figure out a way to drag the charger along with me for my Tuesday trip just in case I need to do a charge to get home.

The kids came over after breakfast and spruced up the apartment again. I could get used to this they do such a good job it makes you feel I could really get some things done with the clean place. As it stands now I have a lunch date with my old buddy Dwayne tomorrow then I'll keep a close ear to the ground to listen for any progress on my power chair situation. If I can just get through till Tuesday I should be okay for the following week. Still too early to do kid letters but I can certainly give it a shot if I need
