Stenosis

Just last month has been chaotic to say the least, it is traumatize me both physically and psychologically to the point where obviously I've neglected my blog and for that I apologize. However when last I wrote I was talking about a series of tests I was undergoing the most significant turned out to be the MRI which revealed a significant stenosis or blockage in the delete that column of major nerves that affect my ability to be independent and who knows what so significant was the findings they immediately begin preparations for and operation to remove the stenosis allowing the nerves to be unaffected.. This of course is a major surgery, neurosurgery to be exact. Dianne and I Imeant with a neurosurgeon who outlined procedure gave me the straight facts. I like the guy I'd buy a car from the sky genuine to seem skilled and it seems like the guy I need to do this job.

We have moved my sleeping area from my room down stairs up to the main floor where I'll be able to access the bathroom from the kids room unimpeded with the patient left. This is has forced us to open a hole in the wall between the bedroom and bathroom large enough to roll the list through. Carl has helped this project Dianne has been through this whole ordeal. I am afraid I've damaged her back and body beyond repair. She can no longer physically really help me and we are looking to get attendant care services to help out. To that end Diane, Carl, Mark A have helped in lifting me, bathing , me and getting me up in the mornings so I can at least be up in my chair doing something otherwise I'm stuck laying in bed all day long which drives me crazy.

We have purchased a hospital bed or rather we are renting the hospital bed which is less than ideal the b**** the slip to sleep on and forces me to be dependent on others to rise and get to bed. I don't know how we're going to remedy this bed but something's going to have to be done. Today I have a representative aHome options, the health care delivery system to see about setting up home health care professionals to help me through my day Diane and me through the day. This is costly I don't know how long we can do it. I am really praying and hoping the results of the surgery well I'll need to reach back and gain a level of independence I had before thus the stenosis whacked out my left side.

I'm going to be whacked for a while following tomorrow's operation so I don't know how often I'll be able to post to this document. You could always get me on Facebook. Thanks for all your support wish me luck I'll see you on the other side.
