I want my chair

I follow  a number of disability platforms mostly out of curiosity but every once in a while find them extremely interesting. It's Thursday have not heard back from my wheelchair guy yet so obviously nothing's been done to rectify the problem of the broken wheelchair. I'm surviving basically in the backup chair and it's continually making me worry about being stranded somewhere. I've really cut back on my trips out of the apartment complex just because I don't want to be stranded. Even going to the market which is just across the street I haven't done and now the good weather looks like it's about finished and I'm going to be home now hunkered up in the apartment. Luckily I have cans and cans of food in my pantry as well as my freezer so I'm okay just don't have any fun food. And as much as I dislike utilizing the service I can get home delivery relatively easy and may do so for the weekend just so that I'll have some fresh fruit and vegetables. I keep telling myself that when the new power chair are the repaired power chair gets back I'll be able to catch up on a lot of this stuff.

But as I started saying earlier I was reading some of these disability platforms on the internet and I ran across the number of chats of people reporting chairs just like my own them having the same problems that I'm having. I thought that was kind of strange but it doesn't really surprise me I guess. I'm surprised I had not heard these kind of issues before now. Guess I get served self-involved to the point that I don't really pay attention to something unless it really Nails me in my home area and my power chair it certainly be that. The backup chair I've been using is one of had for a number of years runs fairly decent if I can keep it charged. What was the problem I thought with my batteries, which still may be it's the same issue that many other folks have had that I've noticed. They said they've even had new batteries that the onboard readouts have given the same messages of low battery or no battery. None of the reports that I read however indicated that the chair stopped working just said that the control box was kind of weird. And I have to admit that I have not been stranded anywhere even though the control box read zero power so I don't know if I really have a charge and I can go places just don't pay attention to the readout or I'm going to go somewhere and get stuck. It's best error on the side of caution and the weather won't be good anyway for the next couple days I can just hope for the best.
