Back in the saddle again.

VAN GO

Last night, Scott Holladay, the fellow who brought my power chair back the night before returned and brought the pendulum( the device which controls the lift, which was crimped and which cut the wires. He had repaired the wires which had been cut and at no charge! What a guy.
We visited for a moment and found the Scott Holladay has a private non-profit which actually gives power wheelchairs away to folks who need them. This is so interesting in that I did not know anything about the organization. I was going to put a link to his webpage but I cannot find a webpage for either of his organizations.

I had another meeting out of the office yesterday afternoon and I had to use public transit to get there which is cool. I made the connections and got to the meeting. I took off afterward like the day before just like the day before the rain started and came down fairly hard. I had my gear though so I stayed fairly dry. Jazzy, my power chair, held up OK—the batteries looked to be nearing their final drain point but I made it . I stopped again at Praxaire on the way home and had the batteries load tested and they seem to be fine. I am just going to have to keep the chair plugged in to make sure they stay charged with enough “juice” to get me back and forth.

I just gotta call I am late for a meeting so I am out of here. Have a great Friday night!

I suppose you are all wondering why there have been no posting of images of late…will my digital seems to be broken. I may have inadvertently cooked it the other day when I was drenched and I was blow drying my backpack where my camera lives. I do not know how hot I got the camera but the camera will not save images right now—hopefully this will not take long to fix or get another camera…
